Pour la 2\u00e8me<\/sup> ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive c\u2019est la ville de Londres (UK) qui nous a accueillis au Queen Elizabeth Park (lieu o\u00f9 se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9s les JO d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2012)\u00a0; sur un circuit trac\u00e9 et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en ville avec,comme nouveaut\u00e9, une c\u00f4te assez raide (pont franchissant une route) + une \u00e9pingle \u00e0 180\u00b0. Ce \u00a0circuit modifi\u00e9 de 1,65 km encore plus exigeant que l\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e devait \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 10 fois \u00e0 25km\/h de moyenne pour un total donc de 16,5 km et ce en 39 minutes maximum. L\u2019ensemble des participants a donc vu ses performances diminuer par rapport aux ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es\u2026 Nous avons eu du beau temps, mais aussi du vent pour la comp\u00e9tition.<\/p>\n

Quelques rappels sur les principes de ce challenge\u00a0organis\u00e9 par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Shell:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Il y a 3 Shell Eco-Marathon dans le monde. Un en Asie, un en Am\u00e9rique et le n\u00f4tre en Europe (le plus ancien)\u00a0: pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment en France = circuits du Castelet puis Nogaro, Allemagne = circuit de Lausitz\u00a0 et derni\u00e8rement en Hollande = circuit trac\u00e9 dans la ville de Rotterdam.<\/p>\n

Il y a 2 types de v\u00e9hicule:<\/u><\/strong> (Fonctionnant tous les 2 avec diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9nergies*)<\/u><\/p>\n

Les Prototypes:<\/u> Ce sont des v\u00e9hicules tr\u00e8s a\u00e9rodynamiques et tr\u00e8s l\u00e9gers qui poss\u00e8dent 3 roues. Le pilote est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement couch\u00e9 sur le dos dans le cockpit.<\/p>\n

Les Urbans Concept:<\/u> Ce sont des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 4 roues, \u00e9quip\u00e9s : d\u2019un volant, de\u00a0 porti\u00e8res, de p\u00e9dales, de phares\u2026 Plus proches de nos voitures conventionnelles. Et qui doivent r\u00e9aliser un stop \u00e0 chaque tour de circuit.<\/p>\n

*Les \u00e9nergies utilisables sont : <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour les moteurs \u00e0 combustion interne (I.C.E = internal combustion engine)<\/u>\u00a0:<\/p>\n

L\u2019essence SP 95 (Gasoline), le gazole (Diesel). Les \u00e9nergies dites alternatives (EA) = les biocarburants comme : l\u2019\u00e9thanol E100 ou le GTL = Gas to Liquid (c\u2019est du gazole synth\u00e9tique r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec du gaz naturel). Ou le g<\/u>az n<\/u>aturel pour v<\/u>\u00e9hicule (m\u00e9thane CH4) = GNV qui est stock\u00e9 dans une bouteille \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat gazeux \u00a0sous une pression de 70bars.<\/p>\n

Pour les moteurs \u00e9lectriques :<\/u><\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, qui est fabriqu\u00e9e soit avec une pile \u00e0 combustible = (Fuel Cell)\u00a0 fonctionnant avec de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne (H2) stock\u00e9 dans une bouteille sous 200bars. Soit elle provient d\u2019une batterie\u00a0 + des panneaux solaires.<\/p>\n

Principe de la comp\u00e9tition :\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

La performance n\u2019est pas donn\u00e9e en litres aux 100km, mais extrapol\u00e9e en indiquant le nombre de kms que le v\u00e9hicule pourrait parcourir avec 1litre de carburant liquide ou gazeux = (km\/1l)\u00a0; ou en (km\/1kwh) pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie ou encore (km\/1m3<\/sup> d\u2019H2) pour les piles \u00e0 combustible.<\/p>\n

– Le pilote doit peser au moins 50kg (sinon il faut lester le v\u00e9hicule) ! Et avoir 16 ans minimum.<\/p>\n

– 4 tentatives de performance sont autoris\u00e9es d\u00e8s que le v\u00e9hicule est accept\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019inspection technique (qui comporte 10 contr\u00f4les\u00a0 draconiens sur la r\u00e9alisation du v\u00e9hicule et les organes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

NB: Lorsque le v\u00e9hicule est lanc\u00e9 \u00e0 bonne allure (40 km\/h) le moteur peut \u00eatre coup\u00e9 afin de continuer en \u00ab roulettes \u00bb puis on red\u00e9marre \u00e0 environ 15km\/h (cette ann\u00e9e, notre moteur n\u2019a fonctionn\u00e9 que 9\u2019 pendant les 39\u2019 que dure la course)\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Classement:<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\"coli<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Il y a donc 6 cat\u00e9gories = 2 types de voitures (protos et urbans) X 3 (pour les I.C.E + Battery-electric + Hydrogen.)<\/p>\n

Les participants :<\/u><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Cette ann\u00e9e 175 \u00e9quipes \u00e9taient inscrites.\u00a0 Dont : 112 Prototypes et 63 Urbans-Concept.<\/p>\n

Ce sont des universit\u00e9s, des \u00e9coles d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs, des lyc\u00e9es techniques, des IUT et des Lyc\u00e9es Professionnels qui sont venus de 26 pays : France, Allemagne, Hollande, Suisse, Pologne, Turquie, Portugal, Espagne, Italie, Gr\u00e8ce, Ukraine, UK, Su\u00e8de, Finlande,\u00a0 Russie + le Maroc et la Tunisie (qui repr\u00e9sentent l\u2019Afrique) \u2026<\/p>\n

R\u00e9sultats des courses 2017\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong> Apr\u00e8s nos 5 tentatives (4+1 suppl\u00e9mentaire) toutes r\u00e9ussies, nous nous sommes class\u00e9s\u00a0 31\u00e8me<\/sup> sur 59 dans notre cat\u00e9gorie proto \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne. Avec une consommation de 5cl d\u2019essence SP 95 = 0,3litre\/100km \u00e9quivalent donc \u00e0 310km pour 1litre<\/u><\/strong> d\u2019essence. Nous sommes 2\u00e8me<\/sup> Lyc\u00e9e Pro derri\u00e8re les Grandes Ecoles d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs qui ont r\u00e9ussi l\u2019exploit de r\u00e9aliser 2503km\/1litre\u00a0!!! On a encore du travail pour les rattraper\u2026 Pour les autres teams, les meilleures performances en protos sont\u00a0: pour les \u00ab\u00a0battery \u00e9lectric\u00a0\u00bb = 753km\/1Kwh et 880km\/1m3<\/sup>d\u2019H2 pour la pile \u00e0 combustible = P.A.C ou Fuel-Cell en anglais.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 <\/strong>Le Colibri N\u00b016<\/strong><\/p>\n

C\u2019est le nom de notre prototype\u00a0:<\/u><\/strong> \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un moteur Makita (Dolmar) 4 temps de 33,5cc\u00a0\u00e0 injection d\u2019essence + turbo, il d\u00e9veloppe une puissance de 1,07Kw soit 1,45 cheval. \u00a0Il est \u00e9quip\u00e9 d\u2019un d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique. Le r\u00e9servoir contient 10 cl d\u2019essence. \u00a0La transmission est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par un engrenage et une courroie plate. Le ch\u00e2ssis est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en carbone, la coque en tissu\/r\u00e9sin\u00e9 et t\u00f4le d\u2019aluminium. Il a 3 freins \u00e0 disque.
